This begins our History Comes Alive learning series for children.  This program features 1860 re-enactors, hands on activities and pictures to remember the experience.  It is open and free to the public for ages 5—9 years old.  Invite a little person to join us.
 
 

Volunteer Coffee Hour

If you think you might be interested in volunteering for DCHS, this is the day you need to visit us.  All of our curators will be on hand to answer questions and give you behind the scenes tours.  There are many opportunities to help at the Society including docenting, events, research, exhibit design, fundraising, genealogy, etc.  We will have coffee and goodies on hand for this casual affair.
 
 

“Victorian Valentine’s Day”

Genealogy curator Terry Neild will lead an informal talk on organizing yourself to succeed at the task/hobby of genealogy research.  Great for beginning enthusiasts, she will share sources, tools and tricks.  Bring a bag lunch and the discussion will continue with a question and answer period.  Cost $5/members, $10/nonmembers.
 
 
 
 

Philadelphia Flower Show Bus Trip

Our yearly bus trip will depart Cambridge at 8:30 am and travel to Philadelphia for this year’s Flower Show, which is a celebration of flowers and plants from around the globe.  The cost for members is $50/members, $55/nonmembers.  Space is limited, reserve early.
