This begins our History Comes Alive learning series
for children. This program features 1860 re-enactors, hands on activities
and pictures to remember the experience. It is open and free to the
public for ages 5—9 years old. Invite a little person to join us.

If you think you might be interested in volunteering
for DCHS, this is the day you need to visit us. All of our curators
will be on hand to answer questions and give you behind the scenes tours.
There are many opportunities to help at the Society including docenting,
events, research, exhibit design, fundraising, genealogy, etc. We
will have coffee and goodies on hand for this casual affair.
“Victorian Valentine’s Day”

The second in the History Comes Alive series for ages
5—9 years old. This will include handcrafting Valentine’s
Day cards for loved ones. The history of this day will be discussed–
what it meant and what it means today. This is free and open to the
public. Invite your grandkids.

Roots and Branches Genealogy Series

Genealogy curator Terry Neild will lead an informal
talk on organizing yourself to succeed at the task/hobby of genealogy research.
Great for beginning enthusiasts, she will share sources, tools and tricks.
Bring a bag lunch and the discussion will continue with a question and
answer period. Cost $5/members, $10/nonmembers.
Philadelphia Flower Show Bus Trip

Our yearly bus trip will depart Cambridge at 8:30 am
and travel to Philadelphia for this year’s Flower Show, which is a celebration
of flowers and plants from around the globe. The cost for members
is $50/members, $55/nonmembers. Space is limited, reserve early.

Julianna Pax is back. With her common sense approach
to food, coupled with the facts of science, she has plenty to share.
The benefits of plants in our diets will be further promoted with a sample
